Massive fire from 18-wheeler on Northeast Loop 410 causes power lines to melt

 

SAN ANTONIO - An 18-wheeler burst into flames early Monday morning on a Northeast Side highway.

The accident happened just after 7 a.m. along the Northeast Loop 410 access road near Corner Parkway.

Several explosions were reported, and the flames are so intense they're melting the power lines directly above the fire.

San Antonio Fire Department officials confirmed that all the people inside the 18-wheeler made it out safely.
